Overview:
You will lead an organization of Solution Developers building the next generation of our product demos, including generative AI applications and foundational services. You will attract, develop, and retain top talent in India, and support their professional growth.
As a key leader of the Solutions Center of Excellence and Demos organization, you will partner with executives across TMP and Solution Engineering to define and build demos that deliver faster time to value for our Solution Engineering community.
About the Role:
Solutions Development is an instrumental function for the Global Solutions Center of Excellence to help evolve and accelerate our demo strategy, and to accelerate Salesforce’s path to $50B.
The Senior Director of Solution Development will be responsible for building and leading a team of very hardworking Solution Developers and Software Engineers to support acceleration of our future demo strategy, while also delivering an Agent-first SE experience to the field.
This leader will be responsible for hiring, retaining, and growing top talent in Hyderabad, India to build out our footprint for the Demos team. They will work closely with other Demo Tech and Demo Strategy leaders, understand the changing needs of the business, and align & build a team to deliver best-in-class demos, Agents, and other tools to SE's in the field. The Senior Director will pave the way for the team’s success by building relationships with Solutions, Product, and Industry leader collaborators to get their support and commitment on our projects. They will develop and share team best practices to continuously improve our release process and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Experience working closely with senior leadership to define and implement pivotal initiatives. Ability to balance long-term vision with short-term priorities and drive execution at scale. Exceptional ability to present data and insights in a clear and compelling manner to senior executives and key stakeholders.
Talent Development: Attract, recruit, and retain top talent in Hyderabad, always maintaining a warm bench of highly qualified candidates. Expand the team’s footprint in India rapidly, while not sacrificing quality talent.
Operational Excellence: Lead, manage, and develop the day-to-day operations of the team as they deliver high quality, reliable and on-time industry demo assets; help up-level the team in their industry, product & project management skills.
Inspire & Innovate: Elevate, empower and motivate team to be top performers and drive their careers to the fullest potential. Push our technology limits, allowing SEs to demo best-in-class capabilities to our customers and prospects. Build and deliver SE Agents to the field.
Cross-Functional Relationship Building: Build strong, collaborative relationships with senior executives, collaborators, and cross-functional teams. Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous learning. Partner with Product and Solutions leaders to align teams on strategy and priorities to drive successful outcomes.
Strong Analytics and Data-Driven Decision-Making: Proven experience using analytics to drive business strategy, measure performance, and optimize processes. Ability to assess complex data and distill it into actionable insights that inform strategy and decision-making.
Proactive and Results-Oriented: Self-motivated, resourceful, and focused on delivering results. Comfortable taking initiative and leading new projects with an entrepreneurial attitude.
Required qualifications:
Prior experience developing on Salesforce.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong project management skills.
Comfortable working in an environment where resource requests outnumber resource availability.
Possess a growth mindset where learning is an every-moment thing, failure is an opportunity to grow and keeping a positive attitude is a well-honed subject area.
Be a self-starter who takes initiative without waiting for direction.

Outstanding interpersonal & communication skills.

Be proficient using Google slides, sheets and comfortable with Salesforce and Tableau reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior 2nd-line management experience; strong leadership skills with proven track record of successfully managing and developing high-performing teams.
Prior experience as an IC and leader for Solution Developers, Demo Architects, and Software Engineers
Salesforce Certifications - Certified Administrator, Certified Advanced Administrator and Certified Platform App Builder.
