We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead and shape our product vision, utilizing advanced expertise in visualization, thought leadership, and empathetic design. The Role:

You’ll be responsible for designing our Trailblazer Community experiences. With more than 3M+ community members, the Trailblazer Community (trailhead.salesforce.com/trailblazer-community) helps trailblazers skill up, connect to Trailblazers worldwide, and give back together by sharing their knowledge, guidance, and building their networks.

You’ll craft and articulate the product UX/UI vision in line with clear goals and rationales – a role requiring expert visualization skills, thought leadership, empathy, and the ability to work closely with product and technology partners. You’ll immerse yourself in all aspects of end-to-end experience design, including storyboards, journey maps, flow diagrams, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design ideas and direction.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the collaboration with product owners, engineers, and user research to establish and articulate a strategic product vision, driving the user-centered design process.

  • Serve as the key liaison across design, product, engineering, and marketing teams, ensuring alignment and coherence in delivering exceptional digital experiences.

  • Take ownership and provide strategic oversight for multiple web and application features, interfaces, and experiences from inception to implementation.

  • Develop comprehensive design specifications that guide precise developer builds and guarantee high-quality user experiences.

  • Designing and crafting prototypes to envision future user experiences

  • Conducting in-depth competitive research and analysis within the market landscape

  • Partner closely with engineering to ensure flawless implementation, delivering refined final products that meet high standards.

  • Uphold and expand existing style guides and design patterns, championing inclusive and accessible design practices.

  • Plan, execute, and report on advanced user research, integrating feedback from peers and stakeholders.

  • Advocate ardently for ethical and inclusive design practices, driving the prioritization of inclusive features and the ethical use of AI technologies.

Experience:

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience designing and leading B2C or B2B products and websites within cross-functional teams.

  • Advanced proficiency in user-centered design methods and best practices.

  • Holistic, system-level thinking with a deep understanding of project ecosystems and their impact on user experiences.

  • Proven track record of implementing globally impactful, universally designed experiences catering to diverse languages and abilities.

  • Unwavering commitment to ethical design practices and a strong advocacy for equality in design.

  • Exceptional communication and active listening skills, fostering close, trusting relationships with stakeholders.

  • In-depth understanding of design, front-end, and backend technology dependencies, coupled with extensive experience using design systems.

  • Experience in usability testing and advanced user research techniques.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity adeptly, persuading stakeholders, and achieving consensus in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.

  • Self-driven work ethic complemented by effective team collaboration skills.

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, generating elegant solutions for complex challenges.

  • Flourishes in an agile environment, consistently delivering outstanding design work under demanding deadlines.

  • Demonstrated success in managing and prioritizing multiple projects and diverse work streams simultaneously.

  • Expertise in design tools such as Figma and adaptability to emerging tools.

  • Experience with community or learning platforms preferred
