Description

We are looking for a self-starting, team-orientated, and passionate Senior Product Marketing Manager to drive and deliver innovative product marketing, including messaging, content, GTM strategy, and product-led growth strategy for Salesforce Foundations. You will be a product and marketing expert, translating the needs of customers and sellers across marketing, sales enablement, product, and field teams.

You will be responsible for working cross-functionally with product, marketing, go-to-market, and sales teams to create messaging, positioning, content, go-to-market, and product-led-growth strategies grounded in user research and data analysis. You will own a wide variety of initiatives that support product-led growth, pipeline generation, and help drive deals to close.

Responsibilities & Impact:

  • Build consensus, alignment, and engagement across Growth, Campaigns, Creative, Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Pricing Strategy, and Customer Success

  • Lead messaging and positioning strategy and execution for target personas in partnership with global Go-to-Market, Campaigns, Content, and Corporate Marketing teams.

  • Be the product expert for stakeholders across product, marketing, and distribution for Foundations

  • Develop succinct and effective sales training materials (demos, training, FAQs, plays, competitive programs etc.), making it easy for non-technical sales to understand our products

  • Define and create high-quality content, while aligning to supporting marketing campaigns

  • Own key communications and updates to sales, press, analysts, and stakeholders

  • Create and produce content for Salesforce events such as World Tours, Dreamforce, webinars, and 3rd party events

  • Support and influence product-led growth initiatives, activation and adoption campaigns, and usage-based upsell/cross-sell plays


Required Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, industry marketing, or growth marketing

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present in front of executives, vendors, partners, and customers

  • Ability to strategize and craft compelling messaging

  • Phenomenal teammate with a proven track record leading and inspiring through influence

  • Hands-on experience building a range of marketing assets, including compelling positioning and messaging, succinct slide pitch-decks, demo videos, and event/webinar content.

  • Pick up and lead new projects even in the face of ambiguity

  • Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.)

  • Must be in a hub-based location with the ability to come in 3 days a week

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in self-service, product-led growth businesses

  • Expertise in Salesforce products

  • Outstanding organizational skills to define and balance multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively within a dynamic environment.

  • A natural collaborator

  • Get-it-Done confidence to pick up and lead new projects even in the face of ambiguity
