The Senior Manager, Product Marketing will lead the creation of compelling messaging and thought leadership initiatives, with a particular focus on AI, integration, and automation solutions and innovations, to establish MuleSoft as an authority in the industry. This role will craft narratives, develop content strategies, and collaborate across teams to articulate the value of our portfolio and AI-powered products to target audiences effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Messaging Development:
Craft clear, concise, and impactful messaging that highlights the value and differentiation of portfolio and AI solutions
Develop Keynote presentations for and speak at marquee external events, requiring strong project management skills.
Develop and maintain messaging frameworks to ensure consistency across marketing, sales, and product teams.
Conduct customer research and competitive analysis to refine product value propositions and differentiators.
Stay current with AI industry trends, technologies, and competitors to refine messaging and positioning.
Thought Leadership:
Design and execute thought leadership campaigns to establish the company as a trusted industry authority.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to produce insightful white papers, webinars, blogs, and presentations.
Engage with Salesforce executives and thought leaders to support their participation at industry events, panels, and conferences.
Partner with PR and communications teams to amplify thought leadership content through media and influencer outreach.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Partner with product management, sales, and customer success teams to align messaging with product roadmaps and customer needs.
Provide training and enablement materials to the sales team, ensuring they can effectively communicate the product's value.
Gather feedback from customers and stakeholders to continually refine messaging and content.
Performance Measurement:
Track and analyze the performance of thought leadership and messaging initiatives, using insights to optimize future efforts.
Monitor industry trends and report on competitive positioning and messaging gaps.
Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in product marketing or related roles, preferably in B2B SaaS or technology industries.
Deep understanding of AI technologies, applications, and market trends, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
Proven track record of developing effective messaging and thought leadership strategies.
Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Experience working in a cross-functional environment and influencing senior stakeholders
