Job Description:
Salesforce is seeking a strategic and creative Digital Content Merchandising Manager to lead the curation, presentation, and optimization of content on Salesforce+, our innovative online streaming platform. Salesforce+ delivers a dynamic mix of business-focused Live virtual and hybrid event content, thought leadership series, and virtual learning. This role will ensure audiences discover, engage with, and gain value from our diverse content portfolio. You will collaborate with event marketing, event technology, produce, venue, and brand affinity.
Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Curation:
Develop and execute content merchandising strategies to feature key event content such as Dreamforce sessions and live virtual events, alongside other on-demand assets.
Collaborate with content creators, event producers, and marketing teams to align merchandising efforts with virtual and hybrid event schedules and platform objectives.
Organize and promote thematic collections, ensuring content relevance and appeal across various customer personas.
Manage content intake request process .
Campaign Planning:
Partner with our demand generation team on merchandising campaigns for major Salesforce+ events, ensuring content is surfaced effectively before, during, and after virtual or hybrid events.
Coordinate promotional efforts with broader marketing and event teams to align campaigns with Salesforce's brand and objectives.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Monitor and report on the performance of event-related content, providing actionable insights to improve engagement and retention.
Share learnings with stakeholders to guide future content merchandising for events and beyond.
Team Collaboration:
Act as a liaison between event producers, creative, marketing, product, and analytics teams to ensure cohesive execution of merchandising strategies.
Stay informed on industry trends, especially in virtual and hybrid event experiences, to keep Salesforce+ competitive and innovative.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in digital content merchandising, preferably within streaming platforms, digital media, or events.
Proven track record of successfully promoting virtual and hybrid event content.
Strong understanding of customer behavior and data-driven decision-making.
Experience with content management systems, analytics platforms, and A/B testing methodologies.
Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Passion for technology, storytelling, and innovative digital experiences.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with virtual and hybrid event platforms and tools.
Knowledge of Salesforce products and familiarity with the Salesforce+ platform.
Expertise in video SEO and metadata optimization for event content.
