Description

Salesforce is seeking a dynamic and visionary Vice President (VP) of AMER Field Marketing to drive growth through the development and execution of a comprehensive go-to-market strategy. This leader will be responsible for working with leadership across the organization, developing and executing high-impact field marketing initiatives, including demand generation, events, digital marketing (paid and organic), and integrated campaigns. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with the expertise and proven track record of enhancing customer engagement, strengthening brand presence, and accelerating the growth trajectory of the business.

Primary Responsibilities:

We are seeking a leader who can unify a diverse set of stakeholders and business requirements into a cohesive, high-impact marketing plan, driving flawless execution with operational excellence. This leader will be expected to:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans, including budget allocation, resource management, and cross-functional collaboration to align with Salesforce's go-to-market strategy.

  • Proven ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with sales teams and develop high-performance field marketing plans within complex, matrixed environments, with a focus on driving leads and pipeline. Success in this role requires innovative, creative thinking and a results-oriented mindset.

  • Collaborate closely with product marketing leaders to ensure goals are aligned, messaging is clear and executed appropriately in marketing programs, and plans are aligned to the business priorities and address the unique challenges of each product or audience.

  • Serve as a senior marketing leader in all business unit sales calls and meetings, effectively representing marketing’s initiatives to the field while providing valuable sales feedback to inform and enhance marketing strategies.

  • Work with other field marketing peers to share best practices and leverage existing assets.

  • Manage communications to key stakeholders across the business.

  • Build and lead a diverse and inclusive team of high-performing marketing professionals. Coach and inspire team members to reach their full potential and advance their careers within Salesforce.

Required Skills & Experiences:

  • Extensive Field Marketing Experience: 15+ years in integrated marketing, with 7-10+ years in field marketing.

  • B2B Marketing Expertise: 10+ years developing and executing B2B marketing strategies and programs.

  • Demand and Budget Management: 10+ years driving demand, pipeline, and managing marketing budgets with strong forecasting and analytical marketing skills.

  • Adaptability, Agility, and Speed: Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, changing, growth-oriented environment with a bias for action and innovation.

  • Strategic and Analytical Thinking: Experience managing change and ambiguity, creating structure, and owning initiatives.

  • Strategic Mindset: Synthesizes market research and competitive intelligence to develop compelling go-to-market strategies.
