Description

The Competitive Intelligence (CI) team at Salesforce is looking for a strategic, execution-oriented professional to support competitive efforts focused on two of Salesforce’s highest-priority competitors in the AI and Platforms ecosystem. These vendors are reshaping the enterprise landscape across cloud, productivity, and CRM—with deep investments in foundational models, generative AI, and data platforms. This role helps ensure Salesforce is ready to respond.

In this position, you’ll partner closely with the CI leads who own primary coverage of these competitors. Your focus will be on tracking their AI investments, surfacing insights, and delivering impactful competitive assets and enablement for Salesforce’s internal teams—especially in areas related to Agentforce, Data Cloud, and other AI-powered products.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and action—researching, writing, collaborating, and helping teams succeed in competitive situations involving cutting-edge AI technology.

Responsibilities

  • Support the CI team’s coverage of two top competitors, with a focus on their AI, DIY AI, and cloud platform strategies.

  • Deliver research, insight summaries, and competitive POVs across strategic topics relevant to Agentforce, Service Cloud, and Salesforce’s AI portfolio.

  • Partner cross-functionally with stakeholders in Competitive, Corporate Strategy, Marketing, and Distributionto deliver timely intelligence and sales-facing content.

  • Build field-ready enablement materials and talking points for key use cases and competitive scenarios involving AI.

  • Contribute to deal support requests, win/loss insights, and strategic enablement programs.

Required Skills & Experience

  • A related technical degree required.

  • 4–8+ years in enterprise SaaS or cloud platforms, ideally in competitive intelligence, product management, product marketing, or sales engineering.

  • Strong understanding of the AI and data platform market, including DIY AI tools, cloud infrastructure, and gen AI product integration.

  • Excellent communication and research skills; able to turn market signals into actionable insights.

  • Experience supporting GTM and field organizations with competitive tools and messaging.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.

  • Curious, proactive, and passionate about shaping how Salesforce competes in the AI era.
