Global Media Strategy Lead

As a Global Media Strategist (GMS), you will manage end-to-end media strategy for a Salesforce line of business. across North America. Your core focus will be managing the performance and growth of your cloud business(es) through increasing familiarity and consideration, generating quality leads, a high-converting pipeline, and ultimately revenue for our partners in sales. You will work cross-functionally with the AOR, field marketing, product marketing, integrated campaigns, ad partners, AdTech, campaign operations, and media intelligence to build effective and efficient programs aligned to key business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Own media performance across all channels for Salesforce cloud business(es)

  • Receive and interpret campaign briefs to develop tactical plans for launching and optimizing media channels within a broader media strategy.

  • Deeply embedded within the business to understand key business problems, objectives, and audiences to solutions for your media strategy.

  • Own relationships with key external stakeholders across field, campaigns, and product marketing teams, communicating performance and ensuring we have the elements necessary for optimization and optimal performance.

  • Support quarterly business reviews (QBRs) by providing insights and performance data, as well as contributing to campaign wrap-up reports.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest media trends and vendor technologies to ensure your cloud is on the cutting edge of innovation.

  • Drive optimization strategies and feedback loops with channel teams, integrated marketing, and product marketing.

  • Continually test and iterate to ensure we are getting the most value out of each dollar spent.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory 5+ years of professional experience in performance marketing or general online/digital marketing, preferably in the B2B industry.

  • Experience managing budgets across different sizes: experimental to scaled (e.g., millions).

  • Media planning experience that includes choosing optimal audiences, channels, platforms, messaging, and ads to meet company goals.

  • Fluency across paid social, programmatic display, content syndication, review sites, 3rd party email, and webinar distribution.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment (agency or start-up experience a plus), working autonomously, and not always having perfect information.

  • Proven track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders of all levels, enabling yourself as well as your team to do great work.

  • Exceptional communicator and collaborative/team mentality.

  • Strong analytical thinker, driven problem solver, and a curiosity to understand the why as well as the what.

  • Proficiency in Asana, Tableau, Excel and/or Google Sheets
