Description

This critical role will lead the implementation of Salesforce India’s Equality Strategy across a complex and dynamic environment by seamlessly integrating AI and equality into our culture at every step. We are looking for a strategic Equality leader and experienced program leader—someone who can translate Equality strategies into action, scale initiatives across the region and engage diverse stakeholders. As a trusted Equality advisor, you will embed equality into operational and business objectives, using data-driven insights to guide decision-making and foster collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Execution of the India Equality Strategy: Translate the India Equality strategy into scalable, measurable initiatives and programs across the Salesforce India footprint.

  • Leverage Data to Drive Strategy: Use data and insights to assess program effectiveness, influence stakeholders, and adapt tactics for greater impact. This includes pulling relevant reports, analyzing trends, and identifying actionable insights that directly inform and advance the Equality Strategy

  • Partner with Business and HR Leaders: Collaborate with a wide network of senior stakeholders, including business leaders, Employee Success Business Partners (ESBPs), and HR centers of excellence, to align on priorities, ensure buy-in, and drive impact.

  • Program Management: Design and execute large-scale programs aligned to the India Equality Strategy. Apply strong program and project management practices—tracking milestones, managing risks, and ensuring timely delivery—while balancing consistency with local nuance and demonstrating a strong execution mindset.

  • Promote Inclusion Through Scale: Scale DEI and engagement programs across large teams by connecting the dots between site needs, business goals, and equality outcomes.

  • Ensure Compliance & Cultural Relevance: Align all programs with India’s legal, cultural, and organizational realities, while incorporating global best practices and company values.

Skills + Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in HR and deep subject knowledge in Equality with a proven ability to design and deliver strategic initiatives at scale.

  • Experience leading large-scale Equality programs across multiple sites, ideally in a hybrid, matrixed organizational structure.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and partner effectively across functions to drive complex initiatives forward.

  • High emotional intelligence, executive presence, and cultural competence; able to navigate sensitive topics and build trust across diverse communities.

  • Strong knowledge of India’s legal landscape related to workplace equality, anti-discrimination, and inclusive employment practices.
