You will be responsible for effectively communicating the value of Salesforce solutions (especially Public Sector Solutions Cloud and Service Cloud) to public sector clients and prospects, translating the complex needs of Italian government entities into innovative and practical solutions. This role requires thought leadership, technical acumen, and the ability to build credibility and trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels-from IT staff to executives and policy makers.
Your primary goal is to remove technical barriers throughout the sales cycle, demonstrating the business value Salesforce brings to public administrations and supporting the modernization and digitalization of public services.

Key Responsibilities

• Clearly and confidently articulate the value and benefits of Salesforce-as a company and as a platform-to all levels of public sector organizations, including functionaries, IT managers, executives, and policy makers.
• Assess business requirements within public administrations, identify challenges, and propose solutions that address regulatory, operational, and innovation needs, highlighting return on investment.
• Manage the entire solution cycle, working closely with cross-functional teams (sales, consulting, delivery, partners) to ensure a cohesive and impactful proposal.
• Develop technical sales strategies and deliver tailored Salesforce demonstrations that reflect the unique processes of Italian public sector organizations.
• Demonstrate expertise in leveraging AI and cloud applications, showing how these technologies can automate processes, improve citizen services, and reduce bureaucracy.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, respond to RFPs, and provide technical training and support to both customers and internal teams.
• Gather feedback from public sector clients and collaborate with product development teams to continuously enhance our solutions.
• Monitor public sector trends and technological innovations to ensure our offerings remain at the forefront of digital transformation.
• Promote enablement activities (webinars, best practices, knowledge sharing) and participate in internal training and mentoring initiatives.

Requirements & Skills

• Previous experience in presales roles (Solution Engineer/Presales) for CRM, AI, or cloud solutions, preferably in the public sector or regulated environments.
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or related fields, or equivalent relevant experience evaluated on core role competencies.
• Strong listening, analytical, and business requirement translation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Customer-oriented, curious, and critical thinker with a passion for public sector digitalization, automation, generative AI, and agentic technologies.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and dynamic environments, managing priorities and deadlines.
• Self-driven, adaptable, and proactive in managing your own professional growth.
• Fluent in Italian; proficiency in English is mandatory.
