Overview of the Role

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Manager of Monetization Strategy & Operations to lead the development and execution of high-impact monetization strategies that drive sustainable growth and competitive advantage. This role bridges strategic vision and operational excellence, collaborating with senior leadership, product teams, and cross-functional partners to evaluate monetization proposals, ensure alignment with company-wide strategic priorities, and operationalize executive decision-making processes. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with operational rigor, demonstrating the ability to assess monetization frameworks and business models with the discipline to drive alignment across cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Strategic Initiatives

  • Collaborate with 20+ Pricing Strategists to refine monetization strategies by providing a cross-cloud perspective and customer insights

  • Institutionalize strategic frameworks, guidelines, and best practices to ensure operational consistency, scalability, and continuous improvement across the monetization function and key cross-functional partners

Operational Excellence & Governance

  • Lead and coordinate the new product proposal process for Pricing Strategists, driving deliverables, tracking timelines and milestones, and serving as primary point of contact for executive approvals and project prioritization

  • Proactively drive process improvements based on direct and indirect feedback from executives, internal team, and cross functional partners

Executive Communication & Influence

  • Lead internal team communications to maintain alignment on priorities, process updates and review timelines

  • Partner with Product executive leadership on a recurring basis to ensure strategic priorities are applied to new product launches

  • Drive executive communications to leadership stakeholders, ensuring clear visibility into project status, recommendations, roadblocks and approval path. Effectively communicate recommendations to gain alignment on pricing proposals

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of working experience, with 2+ years of SaaS pricing or strategy experience

  • Prior management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, pricing/product strategy or product management experience

  • Strong problem solving, analytical and time management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with and influence the decisions of different levels of management

  • Intellectually curious, creative strategic business thinker who loves to tackle complex challenges

  • Ability to own and build repeatable process frameworks, measure outcomes, and continuously improve the process

  • Experience managing and running concurrent projects with complex stakeholder dynamics

  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on theValues & Behaviors for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.) *LI-Y
