4. Interview

We want to know who you are — really! Here’s what you can expect during the interview process.
Get ready

You've got questions. We've got answers.

Don’t be shy! Here are some of our most common career questions.

We love that ambition, Trailblazer! And yes — you absolutely can. That said, for the best candidate experience, we recommend applying to no more than three roles within a 12 month-period. This gives our recruiting team more time to dedicate to each application and helps you focus on the jobs that are best matched to, well, you.

Nope! We have all kinds of opportunities across a variety of teams and business functions at Salesforce, including non-technical roles. (Hey, someone’s writing these FAQs!) We’re focused on hiring high-performing talent who can help drive the company forward. The most important thing you can do is make sure that your skills and qualifications on your resume match those outlined in the job posting.

Preparation is key to showing off your best, most confident self! First, we recommend you carefully review the job description, and get ready to demonstrate how your skills and experiences tie back to the qualifications for the role. Our hiring teams want to hear about real-life situations and may ask questions that are behavioral, competency-based, or situational. We also encourage you to have a foundational understanding of our business. (Pssst: Get started by learning about us on Trailhead, our gamified learning platform.)

We’re happy to help! Send a request via our Accommodation Request Form for assistance and/or an accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process.

It’s no secret that our workplaces have changed, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to how and where we work. Our Return & Remote approach — which includes guidelines for office-flexible, customer-facing, technical, and fully remote employees — empowers our leaders to make the best decisions for their teams and the jobs that need to be done. Together, we aim to connect, collaborate, and do the best work of our lives in ways that work best for our people and teams.

We care about you (yes, you!) thriving inside and outside of work, and we offer world-class benefits for our employees and their loved ones around the globe. And great news — you can get a sneak peek of our benefits right now via our Benefits Site. We aim to prioritize the resources and tools that matter most to our employees — from world-class benefits to wellbeing resources — because we only succeed when you succeed.

Equal Opportunity Statement.

Salesforce is an equal opportunity employer and maintains a policy of non-discrimination with all employees and applicants for employment. What does that mean exactly? It means that at Salesforce, we believe in equality for all. And we believe we can lead the path to equality in part by creating a workplace that's diverse, inclusive, and free from discrimination. Know your rights: workplace discrimination is illegal. Any employee or potential employee will be assessed on the basis of merit, competence and qualifications – without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, transgender status, age, disability, veteran or marital status, political viewpoint, or other classifications protected by law. This policy applies to current and prospective employees, no matter where they are in their Salesforce employment journey. It also applies to recruiting, hiring, job assignment, compensation, promotion, benefits, training, assessment of job performance, discipline, termination, and everything in between. Recruiting, hiring, and promotion decisions at Salesforce are fair and based on merit. The same goes for compensation, benefits, promotions, transfers, reduction in workforce, recall, training, and education.
