Life at Salesforce EMEA: How Futureforce Thrives Across Europe
October 29, 2024
Follow three of our EMEA Futureforce hires as they share their favourite things about working, living and thriving in Europe with Salesforce.
Salesforce EMEA is a melting pot of fabulous cities, cultures, and communities. From our headquarters in Dublin, the community branches throughout the continent from Madrid to Copenhagen, Paris to Berlin, and so many places in between. It’s what makes our EMEA region such an exciting place to begin your career — which our Futureforce university hires know all too well.
Many of our Futureforce student hires begin their journey in our Dublin office — whether that’s flying in for Week 1 onboarding or relocating to kick off their career in one of the most exciting cities for the tech sector in the world. Outside of Dublin, many of our Futureforce student hires go on to impact our other EMEA offices with flair, and get involved in the fantastic culture that’s always the standard at Salesforce.
Let’s explore just a few of our Futureforce stories from the EMEA region, and how they’ve made their mark in each of their offices through the program.
Meet Liam, a new graduate working as a BDA for the UKI market from our Dublin hub.
Although he’s just a few weeks into his program with Futureforce, the Dublin tower has already been the perfect place to begin Liam’s career. “I can comfortably say that the mentors and coaches are incredibly helpful. I can tell that this company is going to challenge and progress my career weekly (if not daily). Even the people on my level are very helpful with teaching me about the ins and outs of not only my role, but the company as a whole.”
Liam applied to Salesforce through a recommendation from a friend, and since joining, he’s already found the Futureforce program to be ”insightful.” But how does he feel about the Dublin office? “Not to sound too cliché but my favourite thing is the people. Along with the table tennis, pool table, and of course, the free snacks!”
Meet Davide, a Sales intern in our Milan office.
Davide Pipitone jetted to Dublin for his onboarding before settling into his new role in the Milan office in Italy. His part-time internship was a big draw for him.
Davide is still fresh to the Futureforce program and loves the central location of his Salesforce office. He says “the atmosphere and the technology surrounding us [in the office] is really lovely.”
Meet Eléonore, a new graduate taking part in our new EMEA Graduate Rotation Program in Dublin.
Eléonore embarked on a new adventure and relocated to Dublin from Paris to take part in our EMEA Graduate Rotation Program, exploring both Sales and Solution Engineering roles. She says the move was a no-brainer. “The rotational program was exactly what I was looking for. I knew it would not only give me the chance to learn from the best in sales but also provide the technical experience that will be deeply valuable for my future career. I was thrilled to find a program that offers such a unique blend of skills and opportunities!”
What is Eléonore’s favourite thing about the Dublin office, and how has she found relocating to a new city? “I truly love coming to the office every day. There are so many opportunities and events, from volunteering events to yoga classes, and of course, delicious food.
What I enjoy most, though, is the incredible multicultural atmosphere. You hear so many different languages, it sometimes makes you forget that you’re in Dublin! I love meeting new, interesting people from all kinds of backgrounds. It’s such an inspiring place to work, with so much diversity and energy around every corner.”
Eléonore is already feeling the impact of working in a company like Salesforce — but what has been her favourite part of being part of the team? “I appreciate how we’re encouraged to give back to the community. It’s truly inspiring to be part of a company that values social responsibility so highly.
I also love the buzzing and innovative atmosphere at Salesforce. It feels like I’m at the forefront of innovation. I’m fortunate to learn from some of the best — everyone I've encountered so far is sharp, insightful, and genuinely willing to help.”
Futureforce is making waves across EMEA, creating a community of grads and interns thriving in their new roles at Salesforce. Our EMEA hubs, including our European headquarters in Dublin, are so lucky to have such a fantastic group of hires — making an impact with learning, connection, and creativity at every stage.
